The Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association held its 2013 Annual Meeting at Rolling Hills Country Club, Golden, Colorado on October 14th.
The RMGCSA held elections for its Officers and Directors at the meeting. Ed Rockett,
GCSAA Class A superintendent at Lone Tree Golf Club and Hotel, Littleton, Colorado was elected President. Matt Rusch Class A Superintendent from Applewood Golf Course, Golden, Colorado was elected Vice President. Zach Bauer, Class A Superintendent at The Broadmoor-West Course, Colorado Springs, Colorado was elected Secretary/Treasurer.
Austin Anderson, Class A Superintendent at Grand Elk Golf Club, Granby, Colorado, Scott Ellis, Superintendent Member at Evergreen Golf Course, Evergreen, Colorado, and Chris Johnson Class A Superintendent from Legacy Ridge Golf Course, Loveland, Colorado were each elected to two-year Directors terms.
Steve Schommer, Class C from Wellshire Golf Club, Denver, Colorado was appointed as Ex-Officio Liaison to Assistant Superintendents. Dave Cahalane, Class A Superintendent from The Club at Bear Dance, Larkspur, Colorado was appointed to the Past Presidents Council and Rick Phelps, Golf Course Architect with Phelps-Atkinson Golf Course Designs, Evergreen, Colorado was appointed Affiliate Liaison.
