Hampton Golf to manage Hampshire CC

Will oversee Devereux Emmet-designed 18-hole facility in Westchester County, N.Y.

Hampton Golf, the industry’s most technologically advanced golf course management and development firm, has signed a management contract with Hampshire Country Club, a private golf club in Westchester County, N.Y. just 30 minutes outside of Manhattan. The club’s beautifully maintained 18-hole golf course was originally designed by Devereux Emmet and has been updated over the years by renowned architects Ed Ault, Frank Duane and Stephen Kay.

Hampshire is the first northeastern United States course to be added to Hampton Golf’s management portfolio, which includes many of the southern United States’ most popular 18-hole championship golf courses, lifestyle clubhouse facilities, spas, hotels and residential communities.

“Hampton Golf’s reputation for providing the highest standard of service at each of the facilities we serve is highly regarded in the industry and we are pleased to be receiving inquiries about our management services from courses across the country,” said M.G. Orender, president of Hampton Golf and 33rd president of The PGA of America. “Hampshire Country Club is one of the finest country clubs in the Tri-State area and we committed to providing first-class membership and lifestyle offerings to its members and their guests.”

Hampton Golf has launched a successful membership program that has already attracted a number of new members for 2013. Onsite amenities at Hampshire Country Club include seven Har-Tru tennis courts, heated swimming and wading pools, 35,000 square foot clubhouse with Pro Shop, food and beverage offerings ranging from executive dining to casual bar, grill or tapas room, private events and social activities for members. Hampton Golf’s centralized customer service center will handle phone communications, tee time and reservation bookings, data and credit collection, and outreach programs.
