Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – owner and operator of 120 golf courses, country clubs and resorts – has promoted Mike Stevens to Regional Director of Agronomy for the southeast / Ohio Valley and Jesse Seguin to Western Regional Superintendent.
In their new positions, Stevens and Seguin’s core responsibilities include budgeting, purchasing, providing support to turf-management teams, and ensuring top-quality course presentation and playability.
In addition, they will manage adherence to the Audubon International “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” program that results in high standards protecting the environment and preserving the natural heritage of golf. This leads to a reduction of maintenance costs, including insurance premiums, energy, water, pesticides, fertilizer, equipment wear and labor.
Most recently superintendent at St. Johns Golf & Country Club (St. Augustine, FL), Stevens has been with BCG since 2006. Seguin remains superintendent at Lincoln Hills Golf Club (Lincoln, CA) and is a seven-year company veteran.
“Mike and Jesse embody the leadership skills and technical ability to groom talented teams,” says Bryan Bielecki, Vice President of Agronomy for BCG. “As an industry leader in turf management, Billy Casper Golf prides itself on supplying an abundance of support and encouragement to field staff.”
BCG directs all aspects of golf course and property maintenance, staffing and training, clubhouse operations, food-and-beverage, merchandising, golf instruction, marketing and public relations, special events and financial management.
