Billy Casper Golf names vice president of business development

BCG appointed Andy Anderson Vice President of Business Development in response to a high volume of inquires about golf-course management and acquisitions.

Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – owner and operator of more than 115 golf courses, country clubs and resorts in 27 states – has appointed Andy Anderson Vice President of Business Development in response to a high volume of inquires about golf-course management and acquisitions. BCG has added 12 golf properties to its portfolio since January 1, 2010.

Based in Scottsdale, AZ, Anderson will focus on municipal, daily-fee and private golf assets for BCG.  Previously, he was a senior executive with hospitality lenders City Hospitality Finance and GE Capital Solutions.  Anderson also served as Vice President of Business Development for Troon Golf.

“Andy Anderson will demonstrate to golf-course owners how their operations and assets are better with Billy Casper Golf,” says Peter Hill, Chairman and CEO of BCG.  “His experience and ability to develop customized strategies for prospective clients will prove to be the difference between success and struggles for them.”

“Billy Casper Golf is a first-class, golf-course management firm,” says Anderson.  “Its considerable investment in a highly-talented team, and cutting-edge marketing and technology platforms, produces measurable returns for clients, evidenced by the firm’s track record.”

Anderson’s experience in golf extends beyond the 50 states to Central America, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.  His community involvement includes volunteering as a development officer for the Junior Golf Association of Arizona.
