Syngenta looking for Tough Turf videos

Win a trip for two to San Francisco for the Tough Turf contest.

Get out your flip-cams and show off your golf course. Don't miss this opportunity to show how tough your golf course is and potentially win a trip to San Francisco.

Golf course superintendents now have the opportunity to show the world how tough their turf is, while competing for a chance to win a trip to San Francisco, Calif., in the process. The new Syngenta Daconil Action Fungicide Tough Turf Video Contest is open to golf course superintendents and assistant superintendents, and will recognize creative videos that highlight why they like Daconil Action fungicide.

The winner receives an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the City by the Bay - beautiful San Francisco - plus an automatic seat at the Syngenta Business Institute in December 2012. Other prizes may be awarded to honorable mentions. Selected videos will be showcased in the Syngenta booth at the 2013 Golf Industry Show.

To enter the contest, superintendents simply need to share their stories in a short video about Daconil Action fungicide, why they like it, how it works and/or what they think it will do for their courses. Videos will be judged on creativity and relevance to the “tough turf” theme. No purchase necessary.

“We are looking for clever and compelling videos, and we encourage all golf course superintendents and assistants to have fun with this contest,” said Stephanie Schwenke, golf market manager for Syngenta. “We are excited to hear your stories and looking forward to viewing creativity around promoting Daconil Action and the new era for tough turf.”

The deadline for entry is Aug. 1, 2012. Videos should reflect the theme of “tough turf.” If you choose to show a Daconil Action application, you must adhere to proper use guidelines.
