Palm Desert Country Club residents gathered at Monday's Citizens Advisory Committee for Project Area No. 4 to get an update on the closure of the club's golf course — and said the course is not being properly maintained.
The course closed on June 11 for the summer, stirring up residents' fears that it would be neglected.
The club's future has been in question since June 2009, when Palm Desert Country Club Development LLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. District Court in Riverside.
