Troon, the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce it has been selected to manage Five Oaks Golf & Country Club, located in Lebanon, Tenn. just 30 minutes from downtown Nashville.
Five Oaks Golf and Country Club has served as Lebanon’s first and only private 18-hole golf course since opening in 2001. The par-72 layout spans 6,954 yards from the championship tees across rolling terrain and plush Zoysia grassed fairways. Ranked the 6th best course in Middle Tennessee by The Nashville Business Journal, the course at Five Oaks has four sets of tees that can be arranged to challenge the most skilled players or positioned to create a more leisurely experience for recreational golfers.
“Five Oaks Golf & Country Club is truly an exceptional private facility with an outstanding reputation,” stated Jim McLaughlin, senior vice president, Troon Privé Operations. “We are honored to have been selected by them and are confident that our management practices will contribute positively to the experience of the members and guests.”
Five Oaks Golf and Country Club is located within a 506-acre community with a spectacular 21,000-square-foot clubhouse equipped with pool and tennis facilities. The spacious clubhouse incorporates modern architecture with many elements of traditional design. The Southern colonial exterior features a wrap-around veranda designed to take full advantage of elevated views that highlight the surrounding countryside.
“This is an important announcement for our community,” said Lebanon Mayor Philip Craighead. “Troon, as many know, is considered the first trademark name in golf course and country club management.”
Five Oaks Golf and Country Club offers two exquisite dining experiences in its relaxed, yet refined dining room and in the more casual Bascom Cooksey Bar & Grill. The menus offer a variety of opportunities that adapt to the seasonal requests of its patrons.
