Nufarm announces golf promotion

Cameron Copley assumes leadership role as golf national account manager.

Nufarm Americas announced the appointment of Cameron Copley to a newly-created role designed to continue to establish the company as a key supplier to the golf market.

Copley, an 11-year green industry professional, has been promoted to Golf National Account Manager of Nufarm Turf and Ornamental.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to develop relationships with top influencers and superintendents of the golf course industry,” Copley said. “My overarching goal is the overall development of the Nufarm product line to the marketplace and ultimately connecting the end-user to the tools they need for their various management programs.”

Copley started playing golf at 4 years old. He went on to work on golf courses throughout his high school and college career before becoming an assistant golf course superintendent at two country clubs in North Carolina.

“I grew up with a passion for the game of golf that’s grown to include a passion for golf courses,” Copley said. “I’m looking forward to becoming more involved in the golf industry and improving superintendent business.”

Before being appointed to the Golf National Account Manager position, Copley was responsible for managing the Nufarm Southeast Region in the Turf and Ornamental Segment. He was present for the integration of the Clearly Chemical line in 2013, and has most recently been working to integrate the Valent Professional Products line into the Nufarm product portfolio.

Prior to joining Nufarm in 2011, Copley was a Sales Representative at Cardinal Chemicals. There, he started the Turf and Ornamental Division, which has grown to become a significant player in the industry in North Carolina. Copley holds a Bachelor of Science Agronomy from North Carolina State University.
