East West Partners Club Management launches web-based library of operational resources

Club Resources International website provides articles on leadership, organizational values, human resources, accounting, golf operations and more.

East West Partners Club Management (EWPCM), a national club, property, and amenity management company, has created and soft-launched Club Resources International (CRI), a portal website with an extensive library of proven operational resources for the club industry.

Deployed this past year, the site has had more than 9,000 visits and 70,000 page views from 64 countries since going live.  Currently, the site has 1,678 individual resources and 141 articles on topics including leadership, organizational values, human resources, accounting, golf operations, food and beverage, and safety, as well as a large variety of training resources.   Much of the material on the site can be downloaded at no charge, while other products are available on the website’s Marketplace store.

The CRI resources were developed over a ten-year period to support EWPCM operations nationwide and are now being made available to the wider industry.  Some of the most popular materials are various proprietary resources created by EWPCM – including Benchmarking, Tools to Beat Budget, and Training on the Go.

“Recognizing that most clubs, whether board-managed or privately owned, as well as the public golf sector, face the same operational issues, we felt the material and resources we developed would appeal to a wider audience," says Charlie Nottingham, EWPCM and CRI President.

“While the CRI concept is still developing and expanding with our desire to be a one-stop location for ‘all things club,’ the reaction so far from the industry has been overwhelming," adds CRI Vice President Ed Rehkopf.

“The CRI website is one of the best I have seen.  I really do enjoy reading your material and I find your content current, relative and very useful.  I wish you had been around, when I started out in this business," says site end-user Don Vance, GM/COO at the Hounds Ear Club.

Another endorsement came from Karen Peterson, Clubhouse Manager at the Inglewood Golf Club. “I can’t thank you enough for the wealth of info on the website!  Everything I have seen so far has been valuable, professional, and timely.  Thank you – we’ve been in need of something like this for a long time.  I look forward to reading your blog each week!  Keep up the fabulous work," says Peterson.
