Sequoia Golf Management announced today that it has been selected by Wells Fargo to manage The Ridges at Mountain Harbor’s golf facilities. The 18-hole signature Willard Byrd and Ben Wright designed golf course chose Sequoia Golf based on its in-depth experience and strong performance record managing an extensive portfolio of golf and banquet facilities.
“Sequoia Golf Management’s expertise and impressive track record in revitalizing courses were the key factors we considered in our selection process,” said Ken Kasten, senior vice president at Wells Fargo. “We are excited to join forces with Sequoia and leverage their vast experience in the golf industry in managing The Ridges. We look forward to working with them to get the golf course, club facilities and member and guest programs to be the best offering in the North Georgia/Western North Carolina market.”
Open since 2005, The Ridges holds challenges for golfers of all levels with striking mountain views and exquisite foliage. The championship golf course plays to a par 70 and stretches out to 6,561 yards from the back tees. Practice facilities include a driving range and putting green. The club features a grand lodge-style clubhouse with casual dining in the Cherokee Grille Sport’s Bar with a covered terrace for outdoor seating. The Ridges also offers a state of the art fitness complex, walking trails, tennis courts, a swimming pool and fully stocked pro shop.
“We are extremely proud to be working with The Ridges and to be part of a club that offers golfers such a serene getaway with its rolling hills and beautiful mountain views,” stated Joe Guerra, president and CEO of Sequoia Golf. “With its first-class facilities, we’re confident that through our innovative programs and unique management structure we can work with The Ridges current offerings to enhance the golfers’ experience even further.”
