Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – owner and operator of more than 115 golf courses in 26 states – has leased and is managing St. Andrews Golf Links in Dunedin, Fla., 45 minutes northwest of Tampa.
St. Andrews is BCG’s 10th property in Florida, 18th in the Southeast region. Testament to the company’s sound management of golf courses, the City of Dunedin awarded BCG the lease over several operators.
BCG is directing all aspects of St. Andrews’ golf course and golf-course maintenance, staffing and training, food-and-beverage operations, merchandising, player programs, marketing and public relations, golf instruction and special events.
Drew Petersen has been appointed General Manager of St. Andrews. Most recently, he was Associate General Manager at the BCG-managed The Claw at USF Golf Course in Tampa.
“Billy Casper Golf is excited to add St. Andrews to our portfolio,” says Peter Hill, CEO of BCG. “Local golfers are already realizing tremendous before-and-after course conditions and personable service.”
St. Andrew’s Golf Links is an 18-hole, 2,200-yard, par-3 course with water hazards on six holes. Its longest hole measuring 165 yards, the course is ideal for beginners or golfers looking to hone their short games. A large, lighted driving range accompanies two practice putting and chipping greens with bunkers.
