Arysta announces GIS contest winners

Seven winners each received an iPad and a case of DISARM.

Arysta LifeScience North America recently announced winners from its booth contest at the 2014 Golf Industry Show (GIS), held this past February in Orlando, Fla.

Visitors to the Arysta LifeScience booth at GIS had their badges scanned to participate in this year’s contest. Seven winners were selected at random from all entries; they include:

  • Rafael Barajas, Hacienda Golf Club – La Habra Heights, Calif.
  • Brett Chapin, Redding Country Club – Redding, Conn.
  • David DoreSmith, Copperleaf Golf Course – Bonita Springs, Fla.
  • Andrew Dauksas, Glen Oak Country Club – Glen Ellyn, Ill.
  • Dan Gwyn, Devils Ridge Golf Club – Holly Springs, N.C.
  • Jared Wooten, Stillwater Country Club – Stillwater, Okla.
  • Charles Miller, Springhaven Club – Wallingford, Pa.

Each winner received an iPad Mini and a case of DISARM Fungicide, courtesy of the Arysta LifeScience Turf & Ornamental (T&O) team.

Specifically, DISARM Funcigide, applied alone or in combination with DMI or contact fungicides, is a cost-effective strobilurin for affordable turf disease control. Golf course superintendents use its patented fluoxastrobin for protection from all major patch, spot and mold diseases, anywhere on their courses.

“It always is great to see familiar faces and meet new ones each year at GIS,” said Michael Maravich, U.S. Marketing Manager, T&O, Arysta LifeScience. “After sharing our expertise at the booth with many contest entrants, we’re happy for the seven winners to now learn more about Arysta LifeScience and our T&O product line on their new iPads; and we’re anxious for them to see the results of DISARM on their courses.”
