Course superintendent named at Newark Country Club

James C. Nietubicz spent four years at Pine Valley Golf Club.

James C. Nietubicz has been hired as the new golf course superintendent of Newark Country Club, according to a report published in the Newark Poast.

Nietubicz has a B.S. in Plant Science with minors in Plant Biology and Landscape Horticulture from the University of Delaware and a certification in Golf Course Turf grass Management from the Pennsylvania State University.

For the past four years, Nietubicz has been with Pine Valley Golf Club in Pine Valley, New Jersey as Assistant Superintendent and as the Superintendent of Pine Valley Golf Club’s Short Course. He has prior work experience as the first assistant during the construction/grow-in phase at Bayside Resort Golf Club in Selbyville, Del., Newark Country Club and Hartefeld National Golf Club.

Nietubicz brings over 13 years of golf course management to Newark Country Club.
