LINCOLN - The Golf Course Builders Association of America board of directors elected its new executive officers Feb. 4 at its winter meeting in Orlando, Fla., at the Golf Industry Show. Rick Boylan of Mid-America Golf & Landscape Inc. was ushered in as the board’s new residing president.
In addition to Boylan, the board of directors officers include: Scott Veazey, Southeastern Golf (president-elect); Dennis Wagner, Ewing Irrigation (vice president); Pat Karnick, Wadsworth Golf Construction (treasurer); Ellen Davis, Waupaca Sand & Solutions—SportZmix Solutions (secretary); Kurt Huseman, Landscapes Unlimited LLC (immediate past president).
All officers serve two-year terms and will preside over the board of directors, which consists of the officers and 10 directors. Two newly-elected directors are Judd Duininck, Duininck Golf; and Frank Warden, The Toro Company. Directors continuing to serve on the board include: Ronnie Adkins, Aspen Corp.; Ed Eichmann, HARCO Fittings; Terry Gwinn, Best Sand Corp.; Allan MacCurrach III, MacCurrach Golf; Wayne Massey, Medalist Golf; John McDonald II, McDonald & Sons Inc.; Rick Williamson, LASCO Fittings Inc.; Stephanie Zimmerman, ADS/Hancor Inc.
