John Deere Golf recognizes top distributors, sales staff

At the 2012 Golf Industry Show in Las Vegas, John Deere Golf held its annual distributor awards ceremony. During the presentation, Greenman Machinery Company of Beijing, China was recognized as the 2011 Worldwide Sales Leader, and Beard Equipment Company of South Alabama and North Florida, was lauded as the 2011 North American Distributor of the Year. These awards are given based on annual sales, market share growth and, most importantly, overall customer satisfaction.

“John Deere Golf is known – across the world – for its superior service and dedicated distributor network. So, we are pleased to honor Greenman and Beard for their excellence,” said Steve Vincent, national sales manager, John Deere Golf. “These distributors exemplify our values and dedication to our customers and the golf industry.”

The awards presentation also recognized three sales managers for “Outstanding Sales Achievement.” Those individuals included:

• Ralph Brannin, Beard Equipment, Mobile, Ala.
• Phil Taylor, Brookside Equipment, Houston, Texas

In addition, 18 equipment salespersons were recognized for “Outstanding Sales Achievement” in North America. Those individuals included:
