CC of Paducah superintendent reaches 25-Year certification milestone

GCSAA honors Larry Hantle, CGCS, for reaching milestone.

Country Club of Paducah’s long time golf course superintendent, Larry Hantle, CGCS, has recently been honored by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) for reaching the milestone of continually being a Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS) for the last twenty-five years.

“Larry is a shining example of the GCSAA’s certification program,” says David Farris, President of the QSTA.  “We are extremely proud of his commitment to providing excellence in the golf course industry.”

Hantle has been at the Country Club of Paducah for the last 16 years.  A graduate of the University of Illinois, Hantle was the superintendent for 15 years at Rolling Hills Country Club in Newburgh, Indiana before coming to Paducah.  Hantle currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer and voting delegate for the Quad State Turfgrass Association.
