Jacobsen, the Charlotte, NC-based manufacturer of turf maintenance equipment, announced a new dealer for the sale of its equipment in Mexico.
Rain Bird Mexico, based in Guadalajara, will provide Jacobsen products and services to the growing golf and sports turf marketplace in Mexico. "Offering Jacobsen products makes good sense for us,” said Steve Schwarz, International Business Manager for the Americas for Rain Bird International. “By stocking both our irrigation products and Jacobsen’s equipment, Rain Bird Mexico can serve as a more complete resource for Mexican golf and landscape customers. We’re looking forward to a great working relationship and successful, long-term business partnership with Jacobsen.”
“We are excited to have Rain Bird Mexico as part of the Jacobsen family,” said David Withers, President of Jacobsen. “As we continue to expand our global presence, our new relationship with Rain Bird Mexico is critical. We are confident Rain Bird’s strong customer service commitment, highly experienced personnel and overall knowledge of the golf and turf markets will help us make significant strides in Latin America.”
