Turf Republic announced today that they have created an Excellence in Innovation award competition sponsored by Jacobsen. The award, beginning in April, will honor one turf professional per month from a pool of nominees. The competion will culminate with a grand prize winner at the 2015 Golf Industry Show in San Antonio.
Anyone in the turf industry, from superintendents to part time technicans, may be nominated for the award, as long as their innovations seek to advance the future of the profession. A panel of industry judges will select the monthly nominees and the grand prize winner at GIS.
