The former Executive Director for Audubon International, Kevin A. Fletcher, Ph.D., has been selected to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the newly-formed, e-parUSA. In this capacity, Fletcher will take the lead role in delivering e-par’s set of innovative environmental management systems (EMS) and other sustainable business tools and services for golf facilities, municipal parks, sports facilities, and other business types throughout the United States. Fletcher brings to this position over fifteen years of experience in environmental management and sustainable business leadership.
The initial focus for Fletcher and e-parUSA will be on servicing the growing demands for the organization’s tailor-made EMS for golf facilities, the e-par V2 EMS. This “next generation” tool simplifies the collection, management, and reporting of environmental information and provides a groundbreaking opportunity for every golf business in the United States to enhance their sustainability performance and profile. The organization has embarked upon a major reorganization of its international operations to support the expected growth commencing with the appointment of Fletcher into this new position.
“We’re incredibly excited to announce that Kevin Fletcher has joined us as the CEO of e-parUSA,” states e-par founder Terry Muir. “Kevin is the right management and sustainability expert to lead e-parUSA to prominence. Our customers, clients, and partners will benefit from his in-depth experience and will be inspired by his passion for sustainability. His understanding of strategic environmental management will resonate with sports turf practitioners and business leaders alike as he oversees all aspects of e-parUSA’s operations. We are thrilled to welcome Kevin aboard.”
“For over fifteen years, I have been blessed with many opportunities to assist organization and community leaders alike on issues of sustainability, including the pleasure of helping to improve golf’s environmental game,” states Fletcher. “By joining e-parUSA, I now have the privilege to help foster truly sustainable golf facilities—bringing the Golf Course Superintendent, PGA Professional, Manager, and Owner together on the same team. Simply put, the new e-par V2 EMS is the best tool for helping to completely assess environmental impacts, better manage those impacts, avoid risk, stay in legal compliance, and exhibit unmatched comprehensive voluntary environmental leadership across the entire golf facility.”
Come meet with Fletcher, Muir, and the e-parUSA team at the Golf Industry Show (Booth #1913) in Las Vegas this February 28th and 29th.
