Chickasha, Okla.-based Windy Hill Enterprises recently negotiated managerial control of Riverbend Golf Course and plan to take it in a new direction.
Bill and Becky Miller, residents of Chickasha and president and vice president respectively of Windy Hill, expect positive changes at the course to begin immediately.
They’ve put together a new, local management team, including Mike Miller as the course superintendent and Danny Snow as the club professional.
“Riverbend is a great, challenging golf course,” Bill said. “However, I believe this management group can improve the aesthetics of the course.
“We’re local people and we want to build up the membership and make this a fun place to come play golf.”
Their immediate goal is to improve the greens.
