Charlotte, N.C. - Jacobsen, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, recognized its top-performing dealers and salespeople during the Golf Industry Show in Orlando earlier this month.
Jacobsen’s Dealer of the Year award went to Tri-State Pump & Control (TSP), a South Carolina-based dealer with more than 30 years in the industry. The top honor is based on a dealer’s sales growth, market penetration and market share.
Individual dealer salesperson awards went to George Corgan of Steven Willand (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and West Virginia), Paul Turner of G.C. Duke (Canada), Layton Scott of Ladd’s (Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi) and Lenny Marino of Baker Vehicle Systems (Ohio).
Ladd’s was recognized for 50 years as a Jacobsen dealer and Horst Distributing (Wisconsin, Michigan) was recognized for 65 years as a Jacobsen dealer.
Krigger & Company (Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and West Virginia) picked up the Dealer Service award. MTE Turf Equipment Solutions (New York and Massachusetts) won the Dealer Marketing award.
Asia-Pacific dealers recognized were PowerTurf (New Zealand), who picked up the Asia-Pacific Dealer of the Year award, NBK Trading Corporation (Guam) went home with the Dealer Service award and Mikuni (Japan) received the Sales Conquest award.
“Whether it’s supporting local associations, investing in service and support, or offering customers flexible financial solutions, our dealers are building relationships in their territories,” said Ric Stone, VP of Sales & Marketing for Jacobsen.
“Jacobsen’s growth and success is intrinsically tied to our dealer network and we will continue to work together to provide world-class products, service and support to even more customers.”
