ORLANDO, FL - At the 2014 Golf Industry Show, John Deere announced product updates to key equipment, including the 2653B PrecisionCut™ Trim and Surrounds mower, 2500B PrecisionCut™ and 2500E E-Cut™ Riding Greens mowers.
2653B PrecisionCut Trim and Surrounds Mower:
Providing products that make it easier for superintendents and their crews to achieve best in class results is a priority for John Deere. With that in mind, the updated 2653B features a lowered seating position and increased legroom to improve comfort level during long hours of operation. In addition, a new double acting steering cylinder achieves straighter lines with less operator input. The 2653B has also now features a Tier 4 compliant diesel engine.
2500B PrecisionCut and 2500E E-Cut Riding Greens Mower:
The diesel models of both mowers are now equipped with Tier 4 compliant engines, while the gas engine of both models features a new larger storage area located behind the operator for easy access from either side of the machine. Both the 2500E models now offer electric controllers that provide increased diagnostics capabilities using Control Area Network or CANbus, the same system used since 2009 on John Deere E-Cut fairway mowers.
Both the riding greens mowers and trim and surrounds mower will be available in 2014.
