BioSafe Systems has announced additions to the AzaGuard label. AzaGuard is now labeled for tree injection and hydroponic applications. The tree injection application would control pests such as the emerald ash borer, gypsy moth, leaf miners and more. This application is great for arborists who are looking for a way to effectively treat trunks with the least amount of chemical exposure to the environment. Tree injections also use less insecticide when compared to conventional control methods. With this new application, AzaGuard is injected directly into the tree’s trunk, taken up by the vascular system and dispersed throughout the tree.
AzaGuard is an organic listed, 3% azadirachtin based insecticide that controls over 300 insect species. AzaGuard’s combination of azadirachtin, food grade ingredients, and over 100 biologically active liminoids provides a multiple mode of action formulation that is labeled for all greenhouse crops including fruits, vegetables, and herbs. AzaGuard has no mutational resistance, can be used indoors or outdoors, and can be tank mixed with compatible chemistries.
