A lawsuit filed by GreensPerfection, Inc., against the PGA of America, Atlantic Athletic Club and superintendent Ken Mangum has been dismissed under an agreement between the parties. The terms of settlement, if any, were not disclosed.
In documents provided to golf/turf media by Rodney Lingle of GreensPerfection, the parties stipulated that, “Defendants never determined and never intended to say that GreensPerfection brushes caused any damage to any putting greens at Atlanta Athletic Club in August 2011” and that public statements by the defendants “did not intend to represent that the brushes damaged the greens.”
Finally, according to the statement, the brushes have still been used at AAC since then “without incident.”
