Standard Golf adds new customer service hotlines

Priority handling for superintendents to make ordering quicker.

A new enhanced priority service supported by the world’s largest warehouse of golf course accessories and managed by experienced factory-level production and logistics personnel is now available from Cedar Falls, Ia.-based supplier, Standard Golf.

SG Express is a customer service hotline that will make it easy for superintendents to place orders and ask questions from the shop or the course, and receive assistance from experienced and highly-trained personnel. Orders are usually shipped within 48 hours.

“When it comes to service, you can’t put a price on people and experience,” said Standard Golf‘s Marketing Director, Jim Nygren. “And that’s the principal reason for SG Express. Basically, it’s a ‘real people, real service’ approach we created to increase our distributor support and exceed the expectations of customers, by having experienced pros ready to take calls, fill orders, answer questions and immediately address their needs.”

Superintendents are able to call SG Express (866-743-9773), or access SG Express ONLINE by simply clicking the SG Express logo on the newly updated standardgolf.com home page, says Nygren. If customers need online support, SG Express personnel will walk them through the process over the phone.

“This not only helps superintendents and our distributor channel save time and money,” adds Nygren, “it also alerts them to special offers and new innovative products, before they’re even announced or advertised.”
