The Golf Course Builders Association of America board of directors elected its new executive officers Feb. 6 at its Winter Meeting in San Antonio, in conjunction with the Golf Industry Show. Patrick Karnick of Wadsworth Golf Construction Company was ushered in as the board’s new residing president.
In addition to Karnick, officers of the board of directors include: Judd Duininck, Duininck Golf (president-elect); Ellen Davis, SportZmix Solutions – Waupaca Sand & Solutions (vice president); John McDonald, II, McDonald & Sons, Inc. (treasurer); Ian Williams, Rain Bird Corporation (secretary) and new to the board; and Scott Veazey, Southeastern Golf, Inc. (immediate past president).
All officers serve two-year terms and will preside over the board of directors, which consists of the officers and 10 directors. Newly-elected directors are Mike Perez, VM Golf Services; Bob Sylvester, The Toro Company; and Jon Truttmann, Hunter Industries. Directors continuing to serve on the board include: Ronnie Adkins, Aspen Corporation; Christopher Caccavale, Caterpillar Inc.; Mark Creighton, Ewing Irrigation; Greg Hufner, Total Turf Golf Services, Inc.; Joy Ramos, D.H.R. Construction; Rick Williamson, LASCO Fittings Inc.; and Tom Works, Landscapes Unlimited LLC.
