Rick Ekins is promoted to marketing manager overseeing golf, lawn care, pest control and ornamentals.

FMC Professional Solutions promoted Rick Ekins to marketing manager for all of its professional solutions market segments, including golf, lawn care, pest control and ornamental.

Ekins has a wide range of experience in the crop and non-crop business segments. Starting his career as a sales representative in the agricultural market in the Midwest, Ekins successfully transitioned into marketing and business development roles. He joined FMC in 2000 as a field sales representative and moved to the marketing group as a product manager in 2003, first overseeing pest control and most recently, turf and ornamental products.

The announcement was made by Dan Rosenbaum, business director of FMC Professional Solutions. Rosenbaum praised Ekins for his dedication to growing the overall FMC portfolio and for his work ethic.

“Rick has been a cornerstone in our marketing group for six years and his experience, insight, leadership and teamwork approach have been invaluable towards the growth of our business segments,” said Dan Rosenbaum, business director of FMC Professional Solutions.

According to Rosenbaum, Ekins delivers on a day-to-day basis the core work staples that make up the Customer-Driven Innovation approach that FMC brings to each market segment.

“This is truly an exciting time of growth and opportunity for all of our business segments,” Ekins said, “and I look forward to maintaining our focus on novel solutions that meet the everyday needs of our customers and distributor partners.”

Ekins will oversee the process to fill his former T&O product manager role as FMC prepares for multiple future product launches into these market segments.
