Local impact at national event

FMC set to begin its 2023 efforts to boost GCSAA chapters with multiple events in Orlando.

FMC announced its 2023 “Give Back to Local Chapters” campaign will commence Feb. 4-9 at the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in Orlando. The program has donated more than $100,000 to local GCSAA chapters since its inception.

The company is conducting multiple promotions at booth #2073 tied directly to supporting local chapters. FMC is making a donation of 50 cents per yard based upon the collective yards local chapter members drive. Superintendents can take a “Kalida Scream” selfie in booth and be entered in a drawing for $1,000 to be donated to their local GCSAA chapter. FMC will also be making donations to the top five chapters based on total participation of each local chapter: first place ($1,500), second place ($1,000), third place ($750), and fourth and fifth places ($500 each).

FMC will again be hosting a “Give Back Event” to show appreciation for local chapters on the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the Oceanaire restaurant. The celebration will include a five-star menu, premium drinks, networking and storytelling.

“The ‘Give Back to Local Chapters’ program has been a hugely successful partnership with GCSAA,” said Mike Sisti, North American marketing director for FMC GSS Professional Solutions. “It has helped bolster participation in FMC True Champions resulting in multitiered financial benefits for GCSAA local chapters. We are excited for 2023 to keep building on those success stories.”
