Florida golf club opens clubhouse, home sites

Amelia National Golf & Country Club in Jacksonville opened a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse and 40 "founder's home sites" that come with golf club memberships.

Amelia National Golf & Country Club, in Jacksonville, Fla., recently opened a new 25,000 square foot clubhouse facility that includes state-of-the-art fitness center, resort style swimming pool, golf shop, a dining room that seats 104 and a lounge that seats 48.

Andy Crowe, general manager of Amelia National Golf & Country Club, said the community, located in Nassau County west of Amelia Island, recently opened 40 “Founder’s Home Sites” in the new phase.

Founder’s Home Sites –– which include memberships in the Amelia National Golf Club –– range in size from one-quarter acre to one-half acre.  Founder’s Home Sites are priced from $215,000 to $240,000, Crowe said.
