Floratine reveals Turf Action Plans

The plans are designed to provide customized advice for turf professionals.

Floratine Products Group announced its new Turf Action Plans, or TAPs. Previously known as Management Action Plans, TAPs specifically aid superintendents in combating a wide variety of challenging yet difficult-to-treat turf issues.

“After years of field research, working side-by-side with turf professionals, we developed TAPs to provide effective, consistent and convenient turf solutions,” says Kevin Cavanaugh, c.e.o. of Floratine Products Group. “Floratine is known for cutting-edge analysis and product solutions, so the implementation of TAPs is another way we’re helping to solve common turf challenges.”

Each TAP includes Floratine product selections tailored for specific situations, conveniently packaged to allow for easy mixing and application. Mixing instructions are presented in both U.S. and international standards.

A selection of eight TAPs is available from Floratine distributors. These include:

  • Rapid recovery – for rapid restoration of putting surfaces
  • Fairway color – boosts color without excessive growth
  • Fall rooting and recovery – ensures turf density, rooting and recovery
  • Heat stress – for overcoming stress caused by high temperature and humidity
  • Mining – enhances nutrient availability to the plant
  • Spring start – spring boost for an early start
  • Tournament prep – prepares courses for the added stress of tournament play
  • Winter strength – combats the slow growth and dormancy caused by cold temperatures
