Wolf Mountain Products, a provider of bark- and aged wood-based soil enhancements and specialized mulch products, acquired the firsTurf trademark and brand from Tessenderlo Kerley Inc. (TKI), a provider of liquid urea-triazone slow release nitrogen, potassium and sulfur-based fertilizer solutions.
Products under the firsTurf brand are ideal for golf, turf and ornamental markets, where purchase quantities are 275-gallon totes and smaller. Products are available across North America and are available now, through distributors, partners and directly from the company.

N-SURE is the company’s urea-triazone-based slow release nitrogen (SRN). The chemistry has years of use in agriculture and specialty markets. N-SURE is a clear liquid, non-burning and very compatible and stable fertilizer, blending with most pesticides, herbicides and other fertilizers. It is available in 72 percent SRN, 50 percent SRN and 33 percent SRN formulations. These products offer high nitrogen utilization efficiency and uniform growth without excessive clippings. They reduce turf stress from drought or extreme temperatures and improve overall plant health.
KTS (potassium plus thiosulfate sulfur) is 0-0-25-(17 percent sulfur), clear liquid product. It’s a compatible potassium that’s commonly used to fortify liquid fertilizers, like N-SURE. KTS offers increased drought, stress and disease resistance among other benefits.
