Lakeland, Fla. – Chris Fay was named president of Golf Ventures and Walt McMahon was promoted to executive vice president.
Fay joins Golf Ventures from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America where he served as director of sales and marketing. Fay was previously with Rain Bird where he was responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing for their golf division.
“I am excited about moving back to the commercial side of the golf course management industry and I look forward to helping Golf Ventures realize continued success and aggressive expansion,” says Fay.
McMahon has been with Golf Ventures since 1993, most recently as vice president of turf and ornamental sales with more than 25 years experience in the golf course industry.
“I am looking forward to working with Chris and becoming more involved in the total operation while contributing to Golf Ventures’ continued success and growth” says McMahon.
