Pride Sports today reported that the Company’s patented Fast-Twist Insert System is now worn by more than 75 percent of the players on the PGA Tour.
The Company also reports that eight out of the top 10 leading golf shoe companies utilize the revolutionary golf cleat insert system as original equipment, including market leader FootJoy, as well as adidas, Bite, Bridgestone, Callaway, ECCO, Etonic and Oakley.
“A majority of golfers, both amateurs and professionals, utilize the Fast-Twist System today, making it one of golf’s most important product developments in many years,” says Rick Oleksyk, president, Pride Sports. “This system has revolutionized the golf shoe industry and it has become as important to the golf cleat market as the invention of the Softspikes-brand itself.”
The Fast-Twist Insert System, which is the lightest weight cleat changing system in golf, was designed to make cleat changing quick and easy, and more user friendly than conventional threaded cleats. A simple quarter turn of a cleat wrench deadlocks cleats into place with a double click, while a reverse quarter turn unlocks the cleats for quick changing. A patented “positive stop” lets golfers know when the cleat is fully installed.
