Spirit Golf Management has been selected to manage overall club operations, including golf operations, course maintenance, sales and marketing, player development programming and food/beverage at Fairways Golf Club, a public facility in Warrington, Pennsylvania, located outside of Philadelphia.

As part of this agreement, Ryan Skeirski has been named the club’s first head golf professional, and will lead all player development programming, including a new PGA Jr. League team.

“We are thrilled to welcome Fairways Golf Club into the Spirit Golf Management family,” Spirit Golf Management Preisdent Mike Attara said. “Their strong foundation in Bucks County offers tremendous opportunity and we look forward to elevating their overall business operation and further enhancing the club as a premier facility in the region.”

Established in 1965, Fairways Golf Club’s par-65 course layout was crafted by William Gordon, a renowned architect who also designed several of the region’s courses, including Saucon Valley, Doylestown Country Club and Old York Road Country Club.

“I have enjoyed over 33 years of being an owner/operator but as I look forward to stepping back from some of the day-to-day work, it was critical that we hired the right team to lead us into the future,” Fairways Golf Club President/owner Val Shartle said. “We were immediately impressed with Spirit Golf Management for their recognition in the industry along with their expertise and understanding of the local market. They have a true hands-on approach, and their team is a welcome addition to overall club operations.”

“It’s great to now focus my full attention on the grounds and course maintenance while Spirit Golf Management assumes responsibility for overall club operations and helps take this wonderful facility to the next level,” superintendent and owner Ron Gorniak said.

Offering a challenging test for golfers of all levels, the golf course at Fairways Golf Club is maintained with fully irrigated bent grass tees, pristine fairways and greens, and scenic views as golfers of all levels traverse the grounds, with water coming into play on 11 holes.
