Executive Golf Partners chooses Nashville for headquarters

EGP's vision is to create a nationwide brand of upscale country clubs united by one theme under one name -- Celebrity Club.

Executive Golf Partners, Inc. (EGP), a golf holding company with interest in country club ownership, management and development with expansion plans from Florida to California, has chosen Nashville for its national headquarters.

EGP was founded by a team of golf industry executives with a long track record of developing and managing successful golf clubs and programs. Their vision: to create a nationwide brand of upscale country clubs united by one theme under one name -- Celebrity Club.

The first of these country clubs will also be located in the Nashville area. EGP is acquiring Old Natchez Country Club in Franklin, Tenn., to serve as the flagship and blueprint for its national vision. Jeff Wine, CEO of Executive Golf Partners, has been overseeing the operation of Old Natchez for the past 18 months.

"We will invest more than $3 million into Old Natchez over the next few years to implement our innovative celebrity-themed, family-oriented club concept," says Wine, who has managed more than 60 golf courses in his long career. He has also been involved in the acquisition of more than a dozen golf courses in various markets. "What we are creating here is much more than a superior golf experience. That's only the tip of the iceberg. Our clubs will be a full-service, one-stop destination for the entire family. Guests who have never touched a golf club will always feel welcome and entertained by the endless amenities and programming we have to offer," Wine promises.

EGP is planning to take the company public through a Direct Public Offering of stock to facilitate its growth and expansion. The company will establish additional locations across the U.S. through acquisition or exclusive management contracts with private club owners. Each club will implement the unique operating model established by EGP to maintain the highest quality facilities and services, but each location will also maintain its individual "personality" through its local celebrity focus.
