Ewing Irrigation, Golf & Industrial appointed Scott Furtak and Ronnie Rogers to its Golf Sales team. Furtak and Rogers will be responsible for providing sales, service and support for golf industry professionals serving California.
Furtak will mainly be responsible for providing service in the areas of the Central Coast, from Morro Bay to Ventura, the Central Valley, from Santa Clarita to Madera, and the High Desert, from Palmdale to Mammoth Lakes.
He joins Ewing after 24 years in the green industry, and his practice includes experience in golf course maintenance, golf course irrigation and sales of turf-related products. Furtak is a member of the Golf Course Superintendent's Association of Central California and the Kern County Official's Association. Operating out of Ewing's Bakersfield facility, located at 4501 Ashe Rd, Furtak is eager to grow the west coast business. A father of three daughters, he enjoys hunting and golfing.
Rogers brings to Ewing 40 years of industry expertise. Prior to joining Ewing, he served at Elon Golf Construction, Automatic Rain and RV Cloud in various roles including irrigation manager, assistant general manager and sales representative. Operating out of Ewing's Campbell facility, located at 1217 Dell Ave, Rogers is looking forward to sharing his knowledge with the Ewing team. Rogers is also a member of the Sierra Nevada Golf Course Superintendents Association. According to Rogers, his hobbies are "golf, golf and golf."
Ewing offers commercial and residential irrigation products, landscape and agronomic supplies, low-voltage lighting, erosion control, water features and industrial plastics to professionals serving the landscaping, turf, golf, and industrial industries.
