Evergreen Partners, a long-term owner and operator of private golf and lifestyle clubs, announced that Tom Hogan has been appointed as president.

Hogan brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience across luxury hospitality, private clubs, golf operations and real estate development. He will partner with Evergreen’s executive team to lead their owned and operated portfolio, with focus on operations, capital planning, asset stewardship and disciplined portfolio growth.

Evergreen’s platform is built around long-term ownership, strong local leadership, and a values-driven operating model that prioritizes stewardship of assets, people and club culture. Hogan’s appointment reinforces the firm’s focus on sustainable performance rather than short-term optimization.

Hogan served as CFO at Augusta National Golf Club and Discovery Land Company, where he was responsible for finance and accounting, capital planning, and operational execution across highly complex, world-class private club and hospitality platforms. He also held senior leadership roles with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

“Evergreen is building a differentiated model in the private club industry that includes patient ownership, disciplined capital, and deep respect for legacy and culture,” Hogan said. “My focus is to help scale that model while ensuring every club remains financially strong, culturally intact, and positioned for long-term success.”

Hogan is known for empowering general managers, maintaining clear accountability, and applying proven luxury hospitality and asset management disciplines to club operations that focus on balancing member experience with financial rigor.

“Owners considering Evergreen are typically looking for permanence, not an exit-driven playbook,” Hogan said. “Our objective is simple: build every club stronger than we found it.”

“Tom’s conviction in our culture and operating philosophy, paired with his track record of excellence, makes him a tremendous addition to our leadership team,” Evergreen’s founder and CEO Matthew Hobbins said.
