Engage Agro USA announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Taminco US Inc. to be the exclusive distributor of Defiant, a 75 percent water dispersible granular Thiram turf fungicide and animal repellent, in the United States.

Defiant is a dry flowable Thiram formulation. It is ideal for the prevention of dollar spot, brown patch and fusarium patch in the summer season and pink snow mold in the winter. In addition, Defiant provides protection to ornamentals from damage caused by deer, rabbits, rodents and migratory birds.
“Defiant is a wonderful addition to the Engage Agro USA product portfolio,” said Trevor Thorley, President of Engage Agro USA. “While Thiram may not be new to the green industry, Defiant is a unique water dispersible granular material that is more economical and provides preventative disease control in addition to animal control efficacy.
