The Environmental Institute for Golf recently held its initial strategic planning session.
The session begins the collaborative work between environmental and golf organization representatives to develop a roadmap for the organization and identify areas that need attention in the industry. Water management was unanimously recommended as the most critical area of concern, along with integrated plant management, site design, wildlife/habitat management, construction and energy and waste management.
