E-Z-GO's MPT turf maintenance vehicles and Shuttle personnel carriers are now equipped with a Kawasaki gas engine.
The 13-horsepower, 401-cc Kawasaki engine is offered exclusively on E-Z-GO’s MPT 800 and MPT 1200 vehicles and the Shuttle 2, Shuttle 4, Shuttle 6 and Shuttle 2+2. The single-cylinder engine runs at low RPM, creating less noise and wear while extending the motor’s lifespan. It’s also compliant with federal emissions standards and meets or exceeds those set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

Gas versions of E-Z-GO’s ST Sport, ST Sport II, ST Sport 2+2, ST Custom, ST Express and all-new ST 400, as well as gas-powered models of the RXV and Freedom RXV golf cars, are also driven by the Kawasaki engine.
E-Z-GO’s MPT vehicles are used by golf course superintendents and grounds professionals at venues such as sports stadiums and campuses. The MPT 800, also available in an electric version, boasts an 800-pound total vehicle capacity while the MPT 1200 can carry up to 1,200 pounds. Both vehicles feature a durable, corrosion-resistant chassis and numerous available options.
E-Z-GO’s Shuttle personnel carriers are preferred at large facilities including airports, resorts, factories and theme parks such as Universal Studios. With seating for as many as six and payload capacities up to 1,200 pounds, all Shuttles are also available in electric models, including the Shuttle 2+2 with E-Z-GO’s patented AC Drive system.
