E-Z-GO selected as official golf car and utility vehicle of Universal Orlando

Long-term partnership involves range of E-Z-GO products.

E-Z-GO, a manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, announced the renewal of a long-term agreement with Universal Orlando to be the exclusive provider of golf cars and utility vehicles to the world-class resort and theme park destination.  
 
Under the terms of the agreement, E-Z-GO will provide an array of vehicles to the Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure parks, along with the CityWalk retail, dining and entertainment complex, for moving support personnel and services throughout the grounds. The renewal extends a relationship between E-Z-GO and Universal which began in 2001.
 
"Universal has a tremendous need for an assortment of vehicles designed for a variety of tasks throughout the parks," says Barry McKentley, senior director of facilities and landscaping for Universal Orlando. "E-Z-GO offers such a wide range of vehicles, we can now solve all of our transportation needs through one vendor. That is a great asset."
 
Universal Orlando is a family destination comprising 840 acres of rides, shows and attractions. Home to a working motion picture and television studio and a technologically advanced theme park, Islands of Adventure, Universal Orlando  also features 2,400 guest rooms at three on-site hotels.

Turf - The MPT 800E has an 800-pound payload capacity and a 46-by-35-by-10-inch cargo bed with heavy-duty bed liner. The 36-volt electric system is ideal for situations that require silent operation.
 
Shuttles - The electric powered Shuttle(tm) 2+2E has seating for four and an 800-pound payload capacity.
 
Industrial - The Industrial 640-stock chaser has a 29-by-48-inch cargo deck with a 1,000-pound payload capacity. The optional ladder adds versatility for those hard to reach shelves.
 
Sport - The E-Z-GO ST Sport features an 11-hp, 350-cc, 4-cycle engine and a 650-pound total payload capacity. The cargo bed is 46-by-35-by-10 inches.
