Wilmington, Del. – DuPont turf scientists have been studying the application and working on more convenient packaging concepts of TranXit herbicide.
“When used within the right management system, TranXit provides excellent Poa control,” says Chuck Silcox, Ph.D., global product development at DuPont Professional Products. “By using a delayed overseeding program, the superintendent allows a greater proportion of the Poa to germinate to allow a one-time application of TranXit to eliminate more Poa, leaving the course clean. The treated areas then can be overseeded 10 to 14 days after TranXit has been applied.”
In addition, TranXit now appears in new packaging and includes a new measuring device, noted for its convenience and safe-handling characteristics. The enclosed system limits contact with the product when dispensed, and easy-to-read increments help ensure application accuracy.
