Minneapolis-based DTN/Meteorlogix has formed a partnership with the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). This long-term relationship will provide funding from DTN/Meteorlogix to NCAR to develop weather solutions that will benefit DTN/Meteorlogix customers, many of whom operate in the turf and recreation industries.
The combined resources of this partnership will provide technology transfer from NCAR directly to all DTN/Meteorlogix subscribers in the form of increasingly accurate weather and pavement forecasts. Located in Boulder, Colo., NCAR is recognized as one of the most prestigious weather research laboratories in the world. The organization conducts collaborative research in atmospheric and Earth system science and provides a broad array of tools and technologies to the scientific community.
