DryJect signed an exclusive, licensed agreement with Arwin Verschoor to be the first franchise for DryJect in Europe.

Ocean, N.J. – DryJect signed an exclusive, licensed agreement with Arwin Verschoor to be the first franchise for DryJect in Europe. Verschoor will offer DryJect soil aeration and soil amendment services in Belgium, Luxemborg, Holland and parts of southern Germany.

Verschoor’s company, DryJect Nederland B.V., Almkerk Netherlands, has holdings in hotels, golf courses and in the turf contracting business located in these countries.

“The introduction of the unique DryJect process in Europe is quite a breakthrough because no one in Europe has ever seen a machine that can both aerate and inject all in one step,” Peter van Drumpt, co-owner of DryJect, says.

DryJect has existing franchises in Canada and Korea but until this agreement with Verschoor, there has been no European penetration. Several other locations around the globe are in negotiations but not formally signed.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to be the first to introduce DryJect to Europe,” Arwin Verschoor comments.” There is a distinct advantage in being the pioneer because it puts you and your customers on the cutting edge.”

DryJect’s expansion program began in 2001, and new DryJect Service Centers are being added, with the goal of being able to reach all United States golf courses and sportsfields within one day’s drive from a franchise location.

Worldwide DryJect is introducing its service into areas where different turf practices exist.

DryJect is a new approach to soil aeration and soil amendment for golf course greens, tees, and fairways. The patented technology injects large volumes (3/4 to 2 tons per the average green) of dry material into the soil profile and leaves the surface immediately playable.  Based on a patented Venturi vacuum technology, the DryJect aeration/sand injection technique adds a number of benefits not offered by alternative systems.

DryJect has been used to help prepare for golf events at courses such as Oakmont, Winged Foot, Merion, Muirfield Village, Oak Hill and Inverness, as well as for routine greens maintenance and improvements at Tidewater Golf Club, Hamilton Farms, Philadelphia Country Club and many others.
