DryJect has announced the expansion of its business operations with the addition of two new franchisees. Representing another step forward in fulfilling the company’s mission to have a strong presence across all areas of the country, the establishment of these new franchise territories will provide prompt and quality service to the formerly underserviced areas in portions of the Western and Northwestern United States.
Doug Roberts, sole owner of Northwest DryJect, has purchased the DryJect franchise territory which includes the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Western Montana. Roberts knows his territory well as he has traveled it much throughout his extensive business and sales experience within several manufacturing and supply, as well as service-oriented, companies. Residing in the Boise, Idaho, suburbs with his wife Anne and 16-year-old son Nick, Roberts certainly knows his way around a golf course and boasts a 9 handicap. His son Nick is also an avid golfer and plays on the varsity high school golf team. As of the end of August 2016, Roberts has completed his extensive training and is ready to “hit the ground running.” In fact, he already has several aeration contracts to be serviced this fall.
Jerry Fleming, sole owner of Four Fleming, has purchased the Utah and Nevada DryJect franchise territory. With a very successful background in sales of industrial supplies and service, Fleming has served as a regional sales manager covering a large geographic area in the Western part of the United States. Fleming, his wife Tami, and daughters Kaitlyn, 17, and Kelsee, 15, are all outdoor enthusiasts and are serious golfers as well. Tami and the girls have worked at local golf courses, with Kaitlyn and Kelsee also sharing their passion for the game as varsity players for their high school team. Fleming has completed his DryJect training and is prepared to fulfill several contracts already booked for this fall. Although Fleming grew up in Southern Idaho and currently lives in the Boise, Idaho, suburbs, his business travels have provided an intimate knowledge of his territory.
“We are excited to have Doug and Jerry as part of the DryJect family,” said Jeff Broadbelt, DryJect vice president of operations. “We wish them the best of luck in their endeavors as we work together to ensure the best possible service to our customers. It is pleasing to know that these areas will receive the attention and quality of service they deserve.”
It is no coincidence that these two territories have been purchased at the same time. Roberts and Fleming are best friends and have played golf together for many years. The love of golf and desire to be involved in the industry has driven them to become a part of DryJect. Because of the contiguous territories, comradery and efficiency of working together to obtain and fulfill contracts, Roberts and Fleming have formed the management company, DryJect Turf Services. This company, located in Meridian, Idaho, will be the point of contact for all service logistics as well as business dealings for the combined territories.
