Dow AgroSciences makes T&O changes

Darin W. Lickfeldt, Ph.D., Anita Alexander and Greg Fletcher assume new positions on the turf and ornamental team.

Darin Lickfeldt

Indianapolis – Darin W. Lickfeldt, Ph.D., a product technology specialist for the turf and ornamental group, has been promoted to a global turf and ornamental research and development position at Dow AgroSciences LLC. He will be responsible for collecting and disseminating biological and regulatory technical information throughout the company.

Lickfeldt received his doctorate degree in natural resources and environmental sciences from the University of Illinois in 2001 and earned a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in crop and soil sciences from Michigan State University in 1994 and 1991, respectively.

He is a member of the Weed Science Society of America, the Entomological Society of America and the Crop Science Society of America.

Anita Alexander

Anita Alexander, who replaces Lickfeldt, has been with Dow AgroSciences for more than 30 years, most recently as a greenhouse research scientist leading the biological development of new and existing herbicides globally.

Alexander will work with university cooperators throughout the Southern United States to plan and execute field research and also be responsible for developing products for new and existing molecules.

Greg Fletcher, who has been with Dow AgroSciences for more than 20 years, has joined the turf and ornamental team as a senior sales representative.

Fletcher will be responsible for product sales in Indiana, Kentucky and the Chicagoland area along with central and southern Illinois, western Michigan and Cincinnati. He received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education from Fort Valley State College in Georgia, and a master’s degree in agricultural education from Iowa State University-Ames.
