Director of sales named at Bergen Hills Country Club

Officials at Bergen Hills Country Club appointed Heidi Larsen the club’s new director of sales.

River Vale, N.J. –Officials at Bergen Hills Country Club appointed Heidi Larsen the club’s new director of sales. Larsen, who has worked in the sales and marketing department at Bergen Hills for nearly two years, succeeds former director of sales Matt Sullivan.

Larsen came to Bergen Hills from Valley Brook Golf Club in River Vale, N.J., where she served as the catering and bar manager and the assistant to the general manager. In these dual roles, Larsen assisted management with starting the club’s food-and-beverage department, supervised a staff of 15 employees in the club’s food-and-beverage department, coordinated payroll and accounts payable, and handled administrative assignments for the club’s general manager. 

Prior to her tenure at Valley Brook, Larsen also served as human resource administrator for the Utica Corp. in Whitesboro, N.Y., and as the assistant business office director for Columbia Medical Office Services in Richmond, Va.

As director of sales at Bergen Hills, Larsen will oversee the club’s membership sales initiatives as well as serve the needs of the club’s 250 current members (across all categories).

“Heidi is the ideal candidate for this position," Napier says. "She has worked closely with the sales department for quite a while and has developed very positive relationships with both our members and outing clients. I am confident that Heidi will continue her outstanding work in this new capacity.”

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Bergen Hills Country Club, which is managed by RDC Golf Group.
