Landscapes Unlimited has completed enhancement projects at two golf courses at Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Closely collaborating with Nicklaus Design, Marvin Mills Irrigation Consulting and Desert Mountain’s agronomic team, Landscapes Unlimited’s work at the Renegade course included construction of a new driving range to accommodate a new clubhouse build; resurfacing and re-seeding of fairways and tees from bentgrass to ryegrass; and several changes to the first hole. The company also expanded and enhanced the driving range tee area at the Apache course.
“Desert Mountain boasts an iconic collection of golf courses and associated amenities,” Landscapes Unlimited West Region vice president Dave Linngren said. “Our ability to help deliver extraordinary experiences to its members and their guests is our focus.”
Desert Mountain ranks among the nation’s finest private golf and recreational communities. Desert Mountain features six Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses accompanied by No. 7, an 18-hole, par-54.
“Landscapes Unlimited is terrific to work with,” Desert Mountain director of agronomy Todd Bohn said. “Its team deeply cares about a streamlined process and terrific outcomes, and we can count on Landscapes to come in on time and on budget.”
