Deadline approaching for assistants' event

Calling all assistant superintendents: The deadline to apply to Green Start Academy is July 31. Green Start Academy is a two-day career-advancement event sponsored by John Deere Golf and Bayer Environmental Science.

The sponsors will select 50 assistants to attend this educational event, which will be held Sept. 29 through Oct. 2, 2009 in North Carolina.
