Scheduled to open July 4, 2006, Liberty National will be the most expensive golf course ever built at a price tag of more than $129 million. It will feature breakthrough maintenance technology along with unparalleled luxury, amenities and services, organizers say. The exclusive course represents a major investment by Willowbend Development in partnership with The Applied Companies. Liberty National sits on the western shore of New York Bay – in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline.
This 18-hole par-70 championship golf course will play at 7,400 yards. Tom Kite and course designer Bob Cupp collaborated on the project.
